Funded by the Department of Family & Community Services, Big Brothers Big Sisters is contracted to provide new matches between young people aged 12-15 years and adult mentors.
The program commenced in 2006 and targets young people living in the metropolitan regions of Melbourne.
Mentor Marketplace incorporates all the elements of the current BBBS service model, with the addition of an ongoing evaluative component.
BBBS wishes to acknowledge the considerable efforts made by the Australian Government in establishing this program for young people deemed 'at risk'.
